Carole Drew Gill is a fourth generation Washingtonian, born into a family that lived in on Capitol Hill in a small multigenerational home. Carole learned to love old houses from her grandfather after she followed him around as he maintained the family house. He explained all the details in the small 1880 structure, the fireplace, the Latrobe, carpentry, woodwork, the brick mantles, etc.
Carol is a graduate of The American University. Prior to working in real estate, Carole worked in the legislative and executive branches of the federal government. She got her first real estate license in 1977 and became an associate broker in 1988. She became a notary public in the 1980's as well.
Carole enjoys the challenge of varied experiences and meeting and assisting people of a wide range of backgrounds and cultures.
Carole, her son and grandson continue to reside in the Mount Pleasant home near the Washington Zoological Park. Carole is an active member of many organizations including her church, the D.C. Preservation League, the Native Washingtonian Club and the African American Photographers Association, Inc. She enjoys the beauty of nature, travel, photography and pleasant explorations of our metropolitan area and of life.
