Tom is a Top Producer in real estate sales who retired from a Senior Executive position at the Federal Aviation Administration in 2004. His real estate interest began in 1976 with the purchase of his first property, since which he has owned more than 20 personal and investment properties. His sales awards have been recognized throughout the industry and local community. He lives by his personal motto: "My Professional Commitment is Your Positive Results!" After graduating from high school in 1968, Tom joined the United States Marine Corps and served a combat role as a Reconnaissance Marine. In 1971 he joined the South Miami Police Department and served five years as a police officer. His dedication to duty earned him the rank of Sergeant and opened the door to a federal career.
Tom joined the Federal Aviation Administration in 1975 as an Air Traffic Control Specialist. His career spanned the next 30-years, during which he served as an air traffic controller, staff specialist, supervisor, manager, district manager, regional manager and finally as a Senior Executive. His areas of specialty were accident investigations and air traffic control quality assurance.
Upon retirement Tom decided to forego the usual "government contractor" position and explore his interest in real estate. In his own words, "I have served the public for over 32 years; I would like to pursue what I am personally interested in. The Washington, DC, area has one of the most diversified real estate markets in the country, and I want to learn it all. Of special interest to me are the historical properties in DC and Northern Virginia. They truly define the history of our great city."
