The Founder and Principal Broker of Best Address® Real Estate, LLC, Joseph Himali, has served as the President of the Greater Capital Area Association of Realtors® (GCAAR) where he set the direction and agenda of the association that represents 9,500 members in Washington, DC, and Montgomery County, Maryland. He also serves on the Board of Directors of Metropolitan Regional Information Services, Inc. (MRIS®), the largest multiple listing service (MLS) in the United States. Additionally, he has served on the Board of Directors of the Capital Area Realtors® Federal Credit Union and the Board of Directors of the Washington,DC Association of Realtors®(WDCAR).
Thanks to the active role in the local real estate community that our Principal Broker plays, our firm not only stays abreast of changes in the industry but also helps to set the standards for daily business practices throughout the industry.
In its efforts to raise the bar on industry standards, Best Address® Real Estate, LLC, does not charge "administrative" or "documentation" fees, and we do not engage in "standard dual agency" -- a common practice within the industry whereby the same real estate agent represents both parties (the seller and the buyer) in a single transaction. In addition, we do not participate in so-called "affinity" relationships with lenders and other service providers whereby the real estate firm has a financial interest in their clients' use of a particular service provider.
