Most clients, when considering whether a home purchase is the right choice for them wonder “is it right to buy”? Now, most clients are wary of the answer their agents give them, because of course their Realtor wants them to buy a home! However, an honest and ethical agent will sit down with you and listen to your specific situation, what your needs are, and what your future plans are to be able to effectively guide and counsel you into whether now is the right time or not.

There is so much information out on the web about when the right time to buy is, but ultimately, it comes down to three things:
  • How does this fit into YOUR life goal?
  • What are your plans are for the home?
  • Why now?
An agent who is knowledgeable about the market and neighborhoods, and has the long term experience to be able to predict the frequent ups and downs of the ever changing market will be able to lend an ear and discuss what the best course of action is for you, not what is best for their business. Clients are sometimes surprised when they end up realizing that sitting tight in their current situation is the best course of action for them!
