History Salon & Networking Lunch - July 2025

Welcome to Joe Himali's History Salon, an event for people interested in the history, people, architecture and built environment of the Washington Metropolitan Area.

This salon will be held at Woodrow Wilson House, a National Historic Landmark, and the residence of the 28th president of the United States, Woodrow Wilson, after he left office. The Wilsons called this home until both their passings. Completed in 1916, the Wilson’s new, very modern home and stately gardens were designed in the Georgian Revival style by renowned architect Waddy Butler Wood—who also designed the home next door.

The doors open at 11:15am and the event starts at 11:30am sharp. There will be a fun "speed networking" session, lunch, and a private tour of the house. We'll have a trivia contest, great conversation and a whole lot of fun!
